Wind Up in Traer and you'll find we're brimming with attractions and a good old hometown feeling.
WINDING STAIRS
A historic Traer landmark since 1894, the Winding Stairs once led to the entrance of the Star Clipper news office. Over the years thousands of visitors have climbed and photographed this one-of-a-kind attraction—the only iron staircase extending over a public sidewalk. Since 1978, the Winding Stairs and the attached building have been listed in the "National Register of Historic Places."
